Hello! My name is Astrid, and I’m 30 years old. I’ve been working in salons for the past ten years. I’ve always been an animal lover since I first learned what animals were as a baby! That love and interest led me to work at Petco, where I started as a bather. It was there that I met Walter, who inspired me to pursue grooming. He taught me to have high standards in my work, and his influence stays with me every day (in a good way!). After Petco, I’ve worked in various salon settings: corporate, private, mobile, house call, and even a dog boarding facility. Each environment has taught me something different, which is something I really love about this job. There’s always more to learn, and I get the chance to improve with every dog I meet! My goal is to provide compassion and care for dogs and their owners. I believe that trust and communication are the foundation of an amazing groomer/client relationship.
